The beauty of color!

I know this might sound a little silly but lately I have just been in love with the colors around me! I was talking to a really good friend of mine at about noon today. She told me that the local greenhouse was serving free lunches today- BBQ sandwiches, corn on the cob, watermelon and apple/pumpkin pie! So we loaded up the family and headed over there for a yummy lunch. Scattered on the table were various pepper plants. I just fell in love with the colors and just had to buy a plant. I love the striking red against the vibrant green leaves!!


When we got home, the kids headed down to the office to draw on the huge dry erase baord we have mounted on the wall. At first they were all drawing on it at the same time. Then they took turns drawing an item that was in the room and having the others guess what it is they are drawing. Kind of like "I Spy". I asked them what their favorite colors are. Jared's favorite color is blue, Caleb- turquoise, Kaitlyn- light blue and Dallyce (Kaitlyn's friend)- red. Personally, my favorite color is pink. I just can't seem to get enough of that color!
